🔦 Investigating Shadows!
To finish our Science unit on Earth and Space, we carried out an investigation into how the position of a light source affects the length and direction of a shadow.

Working scientifically, we used a torch as our light source and an object to create a shadow. We changed the height and position of the torch and carefully measured the length of the shadows produced.

We recorded our results and compared our measurements to identify patterns. We discovered that when the light source was positioned at different heights, the length and direction of the shadow changed.

This investigation helped us to put our learning into practice and develop our skills in making predictions, taking accurate measurements, recording results and drawing conclusions. 🔬📏🔦

We have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the fascinating relationship between light and shadows!
