Friday mornings in Year 5 have been ‘rocking’ recently as we have enjoyed getting to grips with some Rock and Roll. Bon Jovi has been the base for much of our learning as we are trying our best to perfect the classic 1986 song Livin’ on a Prayer. We have focused on pitch, rhythm and pulse which allowed us to introduce our favourite part, instruments!! The glockenspiel, drums and tambourines have made a huge difference to our song. We cannot wait to perform for other year groups!
