This week in Year 2 we started learning a new song called ‘Sparkle in the sun’. We started by listening to the song and worked out that it was in a jazz style with one low-pitched voice singing and speaking. We also noticed the song had a fast tempo and was telling the story of the singer meeting a mythical creature; a unicorn!
We started learning this catchy song and then used our glockenspiels to play along using notes G, A and B! We will continue practicing next week and hopefully be able to accompany the whole song very soon.
