Welcome Back, Year 4!
We have had a fantastic start to the new school year and have already kickstarted our learning with the exciting story of Beowulf!
The children have been enjoying getting to know this legendary tale and had lots of fun bringing it to life by enacting the dramatic fight scene between Beowulf and Grendel. There were some fantastic performances, with the children showing great enthusiasm, creativity and teamwork!
The class are now very excited to discover what happens next in the story. Over the coming weeks, they will be using Beowulf as inspiration to write their own stories, creating their own exciting characters, settings and adventures.
We can’t wait to see where their imaginations take them and to share some of their wonderful stories with you!
