Nursery have had a fantastic week celebrating science week!!! Our little scientists have been so excited and eager to part in many science experiments. Children enjoyed making predictions and observing changes. We were also lucky to have midwife visit us to speak to us about babies.

Below are pictures of some of our experiments:

Below are the children making ice with fishes inside and then finding ways to get the fishes out once the ice had been formed. We used clear and coloured water to make this more fun.

Below are the children putting an egg in either water, milk and coke and observing them each day to see the changes in the egg. We also spoke about healthy living and healthy teeth during this experiment.

Here are the children making rainbow foam clouds. Children loved putting food colouring into the foam and seeing the lovely rainbow colors being formed. We spoke about rain and how it is made in the clouds.

Here are children made a volcano and watched the lava erupt.
