We have really enjoyed exploring performance poetry this week. In groups, we focussed on the poem “Pencil Me In” by Benjamin Zephaniah. After breaking down the lines of the poem, we performed a small section. We tried to use a variety of: pace, volume and intonation. We also added lots of actions.
