During our English lessons this half term, we have been exploring the story ‘Grace and Family’. At the end of Grace’s visit to Gambia, her family threw her a party, and this inspired us to take on the responsibility of planning our own celebration.
We wrote persuasive invitations, created lists of the resources we needed, and composed a recipe for the pizza that would be cooked for the party. We had great fun planning and making all of the resources, and we worked with enthusiasm and care.
Last week, we were finally ready to have our party. We began by following our recipes and making our own pizzas. Afterwards, we changed into our party clothes and enjoyed dancing and playing together. The pizza was delicious, and we had a wonderful time.
