As the seasons begin to change, our Reception ย children have been learning about Spring and the changes they can see in the environment around them. They learnt that flowers begin to grow during Spring and have been exploring the life cycle of a plant. This week, all the children planted cress seeds and enjoyed observing the changes over time. Children also learnt about how the bees help to transfer the pollens and this process is called, ‘Pollination’. Now they know that plants need soil, water and sunlight to grow. They have also learnt to look after their growing plants. Please encourage your children to do some gardening during this half term.
Wishing all a very happy half term break!
