In PSHE this week, the children explored the Rights of the Child and learned about how these rights help to protect children around the world. We discussed how every child has the right to feel safe, receive an education, be healthy, be heard and be treated fairly.
The children had thoughtful discussions about why children’s rights are important and how these rights can help children to grow, learn and thrive. They reflected on how rights connect to our school values and the importance of showing respect, kindness and fairness to others.
As part of the lesson, the children designed posters based on a right that was meaningful to them. They worked hard to present important messages clearly and creatively through colourful illustrations, key facts and thoughtful designs.
Please enjoy some of the fantastic posters from across the year group. Well done, Year 3!
