For Black History Month, in music lessons the children have been learning all about inspirational Black musicians. Year 3 have been learning about musical legend Bill Withers, whose music spans so many different genres it is tricky to name but one. What we do know is that his award-winning song ‘Lean on me’ is about coming together when times are tough and helping others in need.
We hope you enjoy listening to the children play ‘Lean on me’ on their glockenspiels below.
