This week, our focus book is I Love Me! A fun and empowering story filled with positive affirmations. Through the book, we are encouraging the children to celebrate who they are, recognise their unique qualities and develop a positive sense of self.
We have been talking about all the wonderful things that make us special and reminding ourselves that we are brave, kind and strong. The children have really enjoyed sharing their own ideas and thinking about the things they are proud of.
The children have also been having lots of fun exploring the conkers outside. They have been rolling them down ramps, filling containers and experimenting with different ways to play with them. It has been lovely to see their curiosity, creativity and teamwork in action!
If you spot any conkers while out and about, we would be very grateful if you could bring some in for the children to enjoy.
