As always we’ve had a busy start to the new half term.
This half term in writing we are using our historical expertise to write an explanation report on Prehistory, that we will present to Year Four when we have completed it.
In preparation this week we have been practising talking about prehistory and comparing the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age; and discussing how they improved, and what made them improve life for prehistory people.
In science we have been looking at the different food groups and what makes a healthy diet. We discovered that potatoes don’t count towards a portion of fruit or vegetables, but they are a carbohydrate.
We were excited to hold our first ever vote and election of school council members. The candidates had prepared manifestoes, which they presented with confidence. It was a very difficult decision, and in some classes, a very close call, but we have pictures below of our newly elected members for Year Three.
