We have been super busy in our last week of term and having lots of fun!
In D&T we planned our greenhouses. We had to consider the shape, materials to make it from and how to make it sturdy (strong).
While we made our greenhouses we had to keep referring back to our plans, and sometimes change our plans. After we had finished making our greenhouse we had to evaluate them. We looked at each others greenhouse and said 2 things that we like about each others, and 1 thing that we would improve next time; or we could do to make it even better. The children were very constructive in their feedback and demonstrated a maturity beyond their years.
We all had great fun in the Christmas Bonanza and Santa came to visit on the last day bringing a class present for us all to share.
It’s been a long term but the children have settled into KS2 really well and shown improvement and enjoyment. We hope everyone has a wonderful break over the holidays, and we look forward to welcoming you back in January 2026.
