This week, the EAL children have been investigating their own bodies and comparing and contrasting them with their peers.

Using either photos of themselves or mirrors, the children drew self portraits and compared their drawings.

                       Drawing portraits

This gave the children many talking points, they learnt lots of new words associated with our faces such as freckles, cheeks, chin and eyelashes.  It also gave the children a chance to review some of the adjectives they had learnt from previous lessons such as curly, straight, long short and tall.

                                                                The finished portraits!
