Reception have been putting on their explorer hats and heading outdoors on an exciting Autumn Nature Hunt! π³ππ
As part of our learning about nature and the changing seasons, we set off on a special nature walk to investigate an important question: βHow do we know when the seasons are changing?β
Our little explorers used their eyes, ears and senses to look carefully at the world around them. We searched for crunchy fallen leaves, changing colours, bare branches, conkers, acorns and other signs of autumn. ππ°π
The children were fantastic nature detectives, spotting changes in our outdoor environment and talking about what they could see. We discussed how trees and plants change throughout the year and how these clues can help us recognise that autumn has arrived!
There was lots of excitement as the children discovered something new around every corner. Our walk was not just a chance to enjoy the fresh air β it was a wonderful opportunity to explore, investigate, ask questions and learn from the world around us.
What a fantastic adventure for our Reception explorers! π³ππ΅οΈββοΈπ΅οΈββοΈ
