On Monday morning, Year 1 had a very exciting Science workshop linked to our topic, ‘Animals Including Humans’.
Each class took turns to meet a range of fascinating animals and insects. The children had the opportunity to look closely at, learn about and even touch some of the creatures!
We met a giant African snail, a frog, a tarantula and, most excitingly, a snake! The children were incredibly excited and showed lots of curiosity as they learned interesting facts about each animal.
Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed this hands-on experience and had a fantastic morning bringing their Science learning to life!
