This week, we have started writing our new book, Julius Caesar. We have read up to the point where Mark Antony is preparing to give his speech to the people in the market, and we have explored the difficult decision he faces.
In our lessons, we created a Conscience Alley to discuss the reasons why Mark Antony should or should not take revenge on the conspirators. We also took part in a hot-seating activity, taking on the role of Mark Antony and exploring his thoughts and feelings to help him decide what to do.
It has been a fantastic start to our new writing unit, with lots of thoughtful discussion and creative ideas!
