This week our book is Still Sharing a Shell. The children have really enjoyed exploring our under the sea activities. They loved playing with the small world sea creatures and used the large construction blocks to make their own boats.

At the playdough table, the children pressed shells into the dough to create different patterns and textures. They also enjoyed making fish pictures, carefully using tissue paper to create colourful scales.

On the maths table, the children went fishing for numbers and have been learning about size by finding big and small objects and sorting them into groups. They were also very creative with the magnetic shapes, using them to design a variety of under the sea creatures.
