This week we have loved reading our book of the week, Tiny Crab is a Tidy Crab. Through the story, we have been learning about the importance of keeping our environment clean and tidy, just like the crab, and understanding why we should not drop rubbish on the floor. The children showed great interest in discussing how we can care for our surroundings and keep our Nursery tidy.
We also enjoyed a creative activity where the children made their own crabs, which were then used to create a display for our Nursery. The children were very proud of their work and enjoyed seeing their creations on the wall.
Outside, the children had lots of fun developing their imaginative play skills. They worked together to create a train using boxes, taking turns to be passengers and the train driver. They enjoyed role-playing buying tickets and using their imaginations to act out journeys to the beach.
