Reception have enjoyed listening to a range of musical styles so far this term. This has included classics like ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams, ‘Happy Birthday’ by Stevie Wonder, ‘My House’ by Madness and ‘Land of 1000 dances’ by Wilson Pickett. Not only have they danced to these songs, by they have been able to find the pulse by patting their knees in time to the music.

They have also sung various nursery rhymes such as Pat-a-cake, 1-2-3-4-5, Five Little Ducks as well as Miss Jenkin’s favourite animal song, ‘Down in the jungle’.  You can watch RM singing ‘You are my sunshine’ if you scroll to the bottom of this page (which you don’t want to miss as they sound GREAT!)
