On Friday 15th July, our year 6 pupils performed their final show of ‘Sister Act Jr.’ at Jo Richardson’s Boothroyd Hall. They were joined by their parents and carers as well as pupils from years 3, 4 and 5 for this spectacle. It is safe to say that just as Delores’s song goes, they really did take us all to heaven! The show was FANTASTIC! The singing, dancing and acting were first class and it was very clear how hard all of the pupils had worked in learning their lines, songs and dance routines. There were so many cheers and laughs from the audience and the rounds of applause were deafening. Everybody loved it! It was the perfect way for year 6 to see off the end of the year.
A special mention goes to Miss Darcy, Mr Woollcott, Ms Javed, Miss Kerr, Miss V and Miss Sara for all of their hard work in making the production the success it was! Well done!
