In RE, Year 3 have been learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot. We learnt that Sukkot is a seven-day festival that celebrates the harvest and reminds Jewish people to be thankful for what they have.

We also discovered that many Jewish families build a special temporary shelter called a sukkah, which they decorate and use during the festival. The children enjoyed learning about what a sukkah looks like and why it is important.

To bring our learning to life, the children worked creatively to build their own sukkot using Lego. They showed great imagination, teamwork and problem-solving skills, and were very proud of their finished models.
