Year 3 recently enjoyed an exciting trip to the British Museum to bring their learning about Ancient Egypt to life. The children were full of enthusiasm as they explored the galleries and had the chance to see real artefacts from thousands of years ago.

The children were particularly interested in the beautiful jewellery worn at the time and enjoyed looking closely at the intricate designs. They were also intrigued by the canopic jars and learned more about their important role in Ancient Egyptian burial practices.

As the children explored the exhibits, many of them confidently shared facts and knowledge they had learned in class. They also completed activities in their workbooks, using their observations to answer questions and record information about the artefacts they saw.

Year 3 represented the school brilliantly with their excellent behaviour, curiosity and enthusiasm. It was a wonderful day of learning and discovery.

Well done, Year 3!
