This week, we have had some adventures outside of school for one of our classes. The children took a trip to Aldi to go and buy food that matched the story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar, such as apples, pears, and oranges.

The children were incredibly well behaved and looked so mature holding their baskets and filling them with the food needed. All the staff were so proud of the children, and the pictures below look amazing! They are definitely worth a look!

For our other classes, we were making Valentine’s day cards for family and friends; sticking hearts onto the piece of card. Whilst other children were using more food exploration to try new things. The adults brought a toaster in to make pancakes for pancake day, with fruits that the children were familiar with. Again, take a look as the pictures look lovely and all the children are engaged with the tasks.

We want to say that we hope everyone has a wonderful half term break, fill it with fun and happy memories, and we will see you on Wednesday to start all over again!

*The school is closed on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th due to inset days, so Wednesday 28th is when the children return.
