This week, we have been reading Tiny Crab is a Tidy Crab. It’s a story about a little crab who absolutely LOVES his beach and takes great pride in keeping it clean.
When Tiny Crab invites a few friends to join him in his favorite place, he expects they will take care of it too… won’t they? But what happens when they don’t? And what if even more friends arrive and leave rubbish everywhere? Poor Tiny Crab is left to clean up the mess all by himself.
This story reminds us that even the smallest voices can make a big difference and that speaking up for what’s right matters.
To go along with the story, we have been busy creating our own crabs. It’s been a fun and creative way to explore ideas about responsibility, caring for the environment, and standing up for what we believe in.
