This week, we have been enjoying the classic story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The children have loved exploring the life cycle of a butterfly and talking about all the delicious foods the caterpillar eats.
We have also been learning the “x” sound in our phonics sessions. The children have been practising saying the sound and spotting it in words.
With the sunny weather, we have been making the most of outdoor play while keeping cool in the shade. The children have particularly enjoyed water play and relaxing under the trees with their friends.
A gentle reminder: Please remember to bring in a sun hat for your child each day to help keep them safe in the sun.
