We have continued our learning journey on The Great Fire of London. This week we discussed why the fire spread so quickly(wooden houses, narrow streets, thatched roofs). We also learned about positive changes that happened after the fire of London (buildings made from stone, wider spaces between houses, a fire brigade setting up).
We had a fun and exciting time on Friday planning and making a house from cardboard boxes. Next week we are going to recreate Pudding Lane and set them on fire! (Under strict supervision and control!)
