We have been amazing scientists this week!
We have been planning, making and playing games ready to help a Mr Newton at a science fair, who wrote and asked for our help.
He said that he wanted us to help plan activities to help others share in all our learning of magnificent magnets.
We definitely rose to the occasion!
We planned games that would demonstrate how magnets can pass through a solid such as card and wood by moving a magnet underneath the solid and it made the characters on top move around the board in a race, or collecting food; we had games that would show how powerful a magnet can be by collecting lots of ‘fish’ at the end of our fishing pole. It was so much fun playing them all afterwards.
During our RE sessions we’ve carried on looking at the sayings of Jesus and what they really mean. We then rated the sayings in order of importance on a dartboard and we had to have in depth discussions when deciding. We also talked about how our choices of where they should go were only opinions, and we respected each other’s different answers and opinions.
