This week we have continued studying Pre History. We looked at Skara Brae in Scotland and Stonehenge in Salisbury. Did you know that the stones for Stonehenge came all the way from Pembrokeshire in Wales? How did they get them to England?

We tried to make a model of Stonehenge using biscuits. It was trickier than we thought, as they kept falling over. It made us wonder how did the Stone Age people built Stonehenge without mechanical tools and vehicles.
We also role played being archaeologists and ‘discovered’ the grave of The Amesbury Archer. He was buried with over 100 items and we had to work out what they were made from, and what they were used for.

In English we practised using connectives to join two ideas together. We then used these sentences to conduct a debate, with for and against arguments to whether Little Red should give the wolf ginger fizz.
