This week we have started our long awaited topic on The Stone Age.
We looked at timelines and talked about pre-history. It was so long ago, (2.5 million years ago!). We represented the beginning of the Stone Age on a timeline in the playground. Each step we took represented 100,000 years ago. Ask me how many steps we took!
In English we have been preparing to write a balanced argument about whether Little Red should give the wold Ginger beer or not. We sorted statements for and against giving the wolf ginger beer, and we presented our own personal view on whether the wold should or shouldn’t receive the ginger beer in a conscience alley.
In Maths we have been adding/ subtracting 1’s from a 3 digit number; and also adding/subtracting 10’s from a 3 digit number.
Some Year Three’s represented Monteagle at a cross country event on Wednesday. They all did amazingly well! The girls team won 2nd over all in the borough, and brought back silver medals.
