This week in Year 1, we have been immersed in the enchanting narrative of The Robot and the Bluebird during our English lessons. We focused particularly on the scene where the robot encounters the bluebird. We engaged in thoughtful discussions about the emotions experienced by the characters, which enhanced our understanding of the text. Following this, we wroked together with our learning partners to act out the scene, fostering both creativity and empathy. We thoroughly enjoyed this activity and are eagerly anticipating the unfolding of the story in the upcoming lessons.
