Last week in our English lessons, we continued exploring the enchanting book, The Snail and the Whale. We focused on the poignant moment when the whale becomes beached and is subsequently rescued by the villagers. Embracing the role of news reporters, we took turns interviewing witnesses from the scene. This required us to ask insightful questions to uncover further details about the incident. Drawing upon our creativity and knowledge from the story, we crafted imaginative responses. We thoroughly enjoyed our role play, which inspired us to write our own newspaper articles detailing the remarkable event.
