This week in Year 1, we commenced our geography unit titled, “What is it like to live in Shanghai?” To launch our studies, we embarked on a local walk to investigate the human (man-made) and physical (natural) features of our area. We identified numerous human features such as roads, houses, shops, train tracks, and a bridge, alongside a few physical features including a field, hill, and lake. We eagerly anticipate analysing photographs and videos of Shanghai’s features and drawing comparisons with our local environment.
