Our Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly was a heartfelt and emotional celebration of the children’s time at Monteagle. Ms Darcy, Head of Year, opened the assembly with a touching speech, reflecting on how proud she was of every pupil and how much they had grown over the last two years. Parents were treated to musical performances, including songs from the children’s recent High School Musical production, solo singers and talented pianists. A nostalgic photo presentation showed the children’s journey from Reception to Year 6, reminding everyone just how far they’ve come. It was a truly special morning filled with pride, laughter, and tears.

Later that evening, the children arrived for their prom full of excitement, dressed smartly and ready to celebrate. The hall was beautifully decorated with balloons and banners, creating a festive atmosphere to mark the end of their primary school journey. It was a fantastic way to celebrate all they have achieved and to send them off into the next chapter of their lives. Their teachers couldn’t be prouder — it has been a joy to teach them and they will be dearly missed.
