This week the children have continued to build towards showing kindness to one another after continued reading of I Am Kind, I Am Me. See them offer help to their friends and we have loved watching these early friendships continue to blossom through play and teamwork.
Curiosity has been a big theme too, as the children explored minibeasts, talking about where they live and what they like to eat.
Our love of reading has shone through this week, with the children eagerly choosing books to share with adults. There’s a Dinosaur in My Book was definitely the favourite of the week and brought lots of smiles and laughter.
We also read books about fruit which encouraged conversations about healthy eating and sharing personal choice with other building on the term topic of ourselves.
It has also been a very creative week as the children worked together using construction kits both indoors and outdoors. Seeing them plan, build, and celebrate their creations together has shown just how much they are growing in confidence and cooperation.
