Here at Monteagle we take Physical Activity, Education and Well-being very seriously, and we certainly don’t want that to change for all of our children while being at home.

Whilst there are some limitations on our movements at this time, there are plenty of ways to keep active and look after our bodies outside of the PE halls and Playground. We have put together some activities and visuals for all of our children to look at and we challenge you to get involved in as many as you can. Why not get the family involved!

Sport and Physical Activity can be a great way to pass time and the bonus is to stay fit and healthy while you’re doing it. If you don’t have certain bits of equipment we would usually have in school, don’t worry, there are plenty innovative ways to use things that you have at home. We hope you enjoy what is to follow.

Stay safe and stay healthy.

** We thought we should highlight that starting on Monday 23rd March, Joe Wicks is going to be hosting a free PE workout aimed at children LIVE on his YouTube channel at 9am every Monday-Friday.

His message: “As we will all spending more time at home, it’s more important now than ever that we keep moving and stay healthy and positive. The workouts will be fun and suitable for all ages and even adults can get involved. You don’t need any equipment, just tune in to my YouTube channel at 9am each morning for a 30-minute, fun workout.”
