The Year 5 and 6 Girls won a hard fought game against Five Elms Primary School 1-0 this week in the Monteagle Shield Cup. The girls dominated possession of the ball for large parts of the game and got their reward with an excellent goal late in the second half. The scoreline could have been more convincing but for some great saves from the opposition goal keeper.

They are now through to the next round against Henry Green Primary School with a date to be confirmed. Congratulations to the girls who have worked really hard to improve their skills and are looking like a dangerous team. It all bodes well for the future!
