This term, we have been having an exciting time exploring the Solar System in Science!
We have been learning about the order of the planets and developing our understanding of where Earth sits within our Solar System. We have also explored how the Earth and Moon orbit, as well as learning about the rotation and axis of the Earth.
We have investigated how shadows are created and discovered why their size and position change throughout the day as the Earth rotates and the position of the Sun appears to change in the sky.
Through practical activities, discussions and investigations, we have been building our scientific knowledge and using our observations to explain what we see around us.
We can’t wait to continue our scientific learning throughout the term!
