As our first week back, the children’s new topic this term is looking at ‘Emotions’. This is to help the children recognise a happy and sad face, and understand what they look like when these faces are being seen.
For this activity, the children had to look at their own faces in a mirror and pull a happy face, and then a sad face. We used the zones of regulations visuals that we have in class, and the children found it exciting to see themselves in the mirror, let alone seeing the different faces they were showing off.
