This week Reception children have been learning all about Easter. As part of their learning this week, reception children did lots of creative activities, writing, drawing, colouring, and counting activities focused on the Easter celebrations. We also learnt about Easter from Hannah and Selena, two lovely ladies from our local church and we thank them for their contribution towards our Reception children’s learning about Easter celebrations.
All the children enjoyed the celebrations video about Easter and are now aware that Easter is the celebration of new life and beginnings. Children have enjoyed making their own Easter egg designs and cutting out and making their own Easter pictures. Children made their Easter bonnet and walked proudly showing off their bonnets during school’s Easter parade.
Most wonderful moment was when our children’s lovely parents and carers joined us for our school assembly and had lunch with us. The feeling of belonging and being one big family prevailed around us all. Thank you to all the parents and carers for taking out time to join us for our assembly and lunch. What a lovely way of ending this Spring term😀💐
Today is the last day of the Spring Term, as we will break up for the Easter holidays. I wish you all an incredibly happy Easter holidays and hope you all have a wonderful time with your loved ones.
