This week we started learning about mechanisms for moving pictures. The children explored three types of mechanisms that make parts of a picture move:
• Slides – pieces that move back and forth.
• Levers and pivots – parts that turn around a fixed point.
• Wheels – turning parts that make pictures move in circles.
The children enjoyed trying out each mechanism and seeing how they can bring a picture to life. We’re excited to start making our own moving pictures soon!
