9am 8th October Dining Hall.

To celebrate world mental health day, we are holding a coffee morning to reconnect the school community following the isolation of Covid.

As a school we need you to have your voice in what we can to help you and to rebuild our school community to be even bigger and better.

Prior to Covid we ran many FREE courses and fun activities in school and this is something we can’t wait to continue with.

We have Barking and Dagenham College coming into the coffee morning to see which courses you  would like to do with the intention of running them in school for you. All of the courses run have a recognised qualification.  You can get a qualification whilst your children are in school.

We have had great success in working with the college with many of our staff members having started their careers here by joining a parent learning group or as a volunteer.

Please come along on Friday and let us know which courses you would like us to run, which activities you would like to take part in, such as a walking group or yoga, anything you would like to suggest.  We have already suggestions for a first aid course, a CV workshop,  a parent café and toddler group.

The more people that join us the more that we can offer you to build our school community so drop the children off and come along, on Friday, feel free to bring your younger children, your friends, family and neighbours and lets do it!
