This week, Year 3 had a great opportunity to go on a local trip to Castle Green Park. They were involved in the planting of over 1400 trees in support of creating a greener environment for our local community as well as the wider society. The children used the techniques of the Miyawaki Forests and learned how these tiny forests are helping to combat climate change. This is also in line with our service curriculum in school.
