It’s been a short but busy half term of learning, filled with exciting activities and new discoveries. In science, the children had lots of fun making circuits and learning how electricity flows. In geography, we explored the water cycle and rivers, deepening our understanding of how they shape the environment. In maths, we worked hard on measuring length and perimeter and have now moved on to learning all about fractions.

We also finished reading The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane—the children were delighted when Edward was finally reunited with Abilene. Inspired by the ending, they wrote their own next chapter and worked closely with their partners to edit and improve their writing.

We’re looking forward to continuing our learning journey in Year 4, building on everything we’ve achieved so far and discovering even more exciting things together!

Have a lovely half term break.
