This week, in celebration of October’s Black History Month, we engaged in an exploration of the remarkable life of explorer Matthew Henson. We delved into his significant achievements, particularly his historic journey to the North Pole in 1909. We reflected on Henson’s feelings and thoughts during such a challenging expedition.
