Last week, Reception went on their first school trip. They visited Barleylands Farm to learn about farm animals and growing which supported the work they have been doing in class.

The children were excited from the moment they arrived at school and the excitement continued until they left the farm. By then we had some very tired children!

During the day, the children went on a bumpy tractor ride, feed the animals and made a bread roll from the ingredients which came from the land. The children enjoyed spotting the birds in the Aviary, stroking the sheep, goats and donkeys. We even saw some very cute baby bunnies.

It was a great day!
