This week the children have been busy exploring the outdoors and discovering lots of little bugs. Their curiosity led us to a fun art activity, painting spiders! The children really enjoyed creating their own colourful spiders and talking about what they found outside.
We have also been building friendships and having lots of fun together. Inside, the children have loved playing in the home corner, and outside our role play café has been a big hit. It’s been wonderful to see so much imaginative play and teamwork.
In our literacy lessons, we’ve been reading I’m Special, I’m Me! and learning to talk about our feelings. The children have been sharing what makes them special and thinking about how we can be kind to ourselves and others.
We have also been focusing on developing our fine motor skills. The children have been strengthening their hands through activities such as playing with playdough, threading, using hole punches, and completing puzzles.
We are so proud of how independent everyone is becoming, many of the children can now put on their coats all by themselves!
