We have had such a wonderful first week at Nursery! The children have been absolutely amazing, and it has been so lovely getting to know each of them. They have been kind, caring, helpful and so enthusiastic as they have explored their new environment.

The children have enjoyed lots of different activities and experiences throughout the week. They have been busy building sandcastles in the sand, exploring the water tray, making delicious pretend food in the home corner, and having fun with the cars and trains. We have also enjoyed lots of drawing and mark-making, with the children proudly showing us their creations.

We have spent time exploring outdoors too, and the children have particularly loved using the slide and mud kitchen. It has been wonderful to see them so happy to explore their environment.

The children have also been developing their independence. They have been finding their own name or picture to show that they are in Nursery and have been confidently pouring their own water at snack time. It has been fantastic to see how quickly they are becoming familiar with our routines and taking responsibility for themselves.

We have enjoyed listening to lots of stories and singing songs together, creating opportunities for the children to develop their communication and language skills while having fun as a group.

We are incredibly proud of how well everyone has settled into Nursery and are looking forward to another exciting week of learning, playing and exploring together! 💛
