Many of our children went on a local walk to ALDI this week and last week.

The trip had 2 purposes – to get the children out and explore as well as experience going to the shop and buying something from there (many parents may fins this hard to do, so it is nice that we can support wit this life skill), and as it was to help with part of our learning in food sessions.

We have hosted a few of these local walks now over the past few years, and the children do so well when on the trips. They listened to the adults, walked sensibly and, if on the bus, they sat down and waited for their stop to arrive before getting on the bus safely and sensibly.

A huge thank you to parents/ carers and family members for attending trips like these. We would not be able to do them without your help!

Take a look at the pictures of the children below in the shop, picking ingredients to use when in school, and to buy them at the checkout using cash or a credit card.
