Last week, our Year 6 pupils had a truly memorable experience taking part in a No Knives Better Lives session at the Old Bailey, London’s historic central criminal court. During the visit, they had the unique opportunity to meet a judge and hear first hand about the realities of the justice system. The sessions inspired children to believe in themselves and their futures while providing an honest and moving exploration of the dangers of knife crime, gang involvement and grooming. Through personal stories and genuine passion, the speakers connected naturally with the children, creating a safe space where every voice was valued. Pupils left feeling more confident, motivated to make positive choices and proud of who they are. This programme reassures, protects and inspires, helping children feel seen, valued and capable of choosing a positive path.
